Power is distributed to your building at your electrical panel. While the panel you have now may have been sufficient when each room only had a light bulb and a pair of outlets, today's needs are vastly more advanced than even a decade ago. The NEC (National Electrical Code) is rewritten, often with as many as 1500 code changes, every three years. Factor in that many buildings have 30+ year old wiring, and you may be 20,000 changes overdue! One of the last worries you need is an overstressed electrical panel, that's been added onto haphazardly over the years. Not only is it an inconvenience to have to reset a circuit breaker (or heaven forbid, change a fuse!), it's also a safety concern. An improperly functioning breaker can lead to overheating or even an electrical fire, one of the most dangerous for any structure. Don't wait to have your panel inspected by ASK-KAY. We can recommend if you need to have your loads merely redistributed, if a sub-panel is needed or if an upgrade is called for. It's a wise investment in your property and your safety.
